Basketball On Wheels

Luisa, my sports-minded friend is looking for trophies designs for their upcoming event this January 2011. It is called Basketball on Wheels as all participants are physically challenged individuals on wheelchairs. I saw one event like that before in Camaman-an, where men in wheel chairs moved their way around the basketball court aiming to shoot the ball at their respective goals.. It was exhilarating and fun. Something that the players were proud to be involved in. I think my friend Luisa should also be proud of herself for providing such venue for challenged individuals to have fun and boost their egos in the process..Go Luisa!

6 Blouses in a row..

After Lim Ket Kai, we went to Divisoria and bought some Pearl Shakes from Orbitz. We strolled along Divisoria and came upon a stall that sells clothes. It was a Best Buy for me since I was able to buy six blouses in a row for only eighty pesos each.Honey was also able to buy three blouses for the same price each. We strolled on further and saw a lot more but then we decided to go home as it was already very late. River and Lili need to rest already.

Twin Bags..

We went to Lim Ket Kai Mall tonight and had dinner at Shakey's. After which, we explored Worlds of Fun. I wanted to look for one of those custom messenger bags at the second floor. Unfortunately, we didn't make it at the second floor. We spent so much time, and even lacked enough time to win the game we played at Worlds of Fun. But of course, it was still okay. We had fun.

We were to look at the bag that Abigail bought at Robinson's which is identical with that of Lara in Singapore. I had a chance to see both bags as we went to Xavier Estates after I arrived yesterday, and I find that the one from Robinson's is better and cheaper.. But of course, that from Singapore is also good looking.

Mom..

My mom was happy when I gave her the $50 for her pair of shoes. Well, it may just be a very small amount here in Singapore, and buying only a pair of shoes for it is already a big thing for my mom. Especially because whenever she buys things, she converts from Singapore dollars to Philippine pesos, lol.. So, yes, the shoes were rather expensive that way, but it is already cheaper than most here in Singapore. I bet, even if I will only give ProFowers Tampa, my mom will still be very happy. Mothers are like that. I should know, I am a mom too.

Christmas Deals

Christmas deals are all around. I was able to buy a really nice bag for only $17.90 at Tang's last night. And you know what? My friend Didi was able to get a cheap insurance too. Not bad. Tito Noel went shopping at the Changi Airport and was given gifts for every item he purchased. OMG! Whatta deal. Here in Singapore, you always get what your money is worth, quality plus extra deals on the side. I hope we also get them in the Philippines, instead of people always commercializing the season with so much wares that costs too much. Here in Singapore, Christmas is the season where goods and services become cheaper than the usual price. Hmm.. No wonder many people come here to shop. But then, Malaysia is even more cheaper, It is half the price compared here in Singapore.

On Tour

My parents and aunts were here for almost a week and boy did we have a great time clicking on our cameras. By far, they were able to relax and enjoy the sceneries, the views, the activities and best of all, the company. All in all, there were more than twenty folders of pictures from all the different activities and events that took place during their stay. Just imagine nine people with a camera each, lol.. 

Anyway, there was one tour that my parents and aunts were not able to take so Ella and I took the tour last night. It was the "A Star Lit Christmas" sight seeing tour that featured all three colors representing peace joy and love, blue, pink and purple. It was all over Orchard and we just had a great time. Too bad it was just the two of us that took it. But we had fun, and we had a late dinner at Swensen's after.

Spy Wanna Be..

Have you ever wondered about those movies where spies are featured and they use gadgets and many other tools in their quests? Do you even want to be like them too in real life? Plenty of times, I have seen movies where a man uses female voice changer to be able to get someone nailed. Spies are quite tricky and they are able to control situations using their tools and gadgets. Of course, if you are a man, a female voice changer is handy, but if you are a woman, a male voice changer could do the work.

But of course, I also like those gadgets used in the James Bond movies. But of course, they also featured telephone voice changers and those that changes the background noise or controls the background noises.. But CSI is the best for they not only feature gadgets, they also show how to catch a spy through the many techniques and tricks using the latest technology of course.

Thinking..

I do not know if there is ever a diet pill that is effective enough to make me lose weight in just two weeks. And if ever there is, I do not know which is the most effective diet pill.. Haayz.. For the past two days, we have been eating out and eating really well. My golly! We started at the Japanese resto in Parkway Parade, then at Rise, then at the Imperial Chinese Restaurant inside the Casino at Marina Bay Sands Hotel, followed by dinner at The Nest. Today at lunch, we had quite so much delights at the Food Republic before going on our Sentosa tour.. Tonight at dinner, Grace cooked a really special treat.. 

So, tell me, how in this world will there be a chance for diet pills to work fast? Hehehe

WOW..

Almost all buildings here in Singapore are steel buildings. They are built to withstand almost anything, especially earthquakes and lightnings. At first, I was always afraid that the lightnings in the afternoons may hit our building or that across or behind us. But when I learned about some facts about buildings in Singapore, I am no longer afraid. Although sometimes, I still prefer to be inside the house when lightning strikes. Better safe than sorry. Or better yet, better have peace of mind... Won't you agree?

A Photo Shoot at the Airport

Yesterday afternoon, my Tito and I sent Honey off to Manila at the Changi International Airport. We took the sky train and headed towards Terminal 3 where we saw a woman and a man, both dressed in a bridal gown and tuxedo to match. They were walking around the airport for their photo shoot. In my mind, I was thinking of how pitiful said photo shoots are for wedding dresses. The woman was wearing something really nice and long, so I felt she was already burdened at how heavy her gown was, added to the fact that she was wearing high healed sandals. OMG!

Anyway, after that, we went back to Terminal 2 where Honey checked in and eventually went inside the departure area to board her plane.

Beautiful...

I have met another tenant here at Ivory 15 and she is really very pretty. She told me she is sixty four, but I do not believe her. I complimented her, saying that she looked just like a forty year old lady. But then she told me that when she was forty, she was busy reading wrinkle treatment reviews and at fifty, have had herself treated so that now that she is sixty four, she has seen the effects of all her labors. Amazing.. 

Anyway, I think it also helps if the food intake is more on vegetables and fruits, rather than meat and junk food. I truly marveled at her beauty at the age of sixty four. It was like a living testimony of all testimonies, that beauty begins from within. She is after all a kind hearted lady who opened and waited on elevators for complete strangers.

Strong Men

Men who engage in sports and pseudo-sports activities have a tendency to be branded as strong. Well, they are, if their health is truly of best status. One even jokingly told me that with sporty men, women need not buy a male enhancement product to make him grow strong in the department where it is deem necessary. Well, could be true, could be false. All I know is that, sporty men are playing their sport to sweat out tensions and to combat stress. Although that friend of mine who talked about the male enhancements, surely take on his stresses and tensions in another department, lol..

Anyway, what are strong men really? For me, a man is strong if he allows himself  to be  seen in his feminine side without the fear of rejection or scrutiny. Not gay, just being positively inclined with the yin and the yang and how they make the world a better place with men understanding women and their moods. I am sure if you have men a man like this, you will understand what I am trying to say..

Keeping Healthy Bodies

A lot of my friends in college are drinkers, who have now stopped their old habits. Well good for them. Some even have excelled in sports to maintain a healthy lifestyle. Others have patronized a health drink or two and even signed up for nutritionals and supplements, even selling herbal colon cleanse formulas for their own benefit.

Well, good for us, we are still alive. But one classmate of mine died seven years ago and another five years ago for reasons of poor health. I guess many have become conscious already. And good that everyone is doing their best to attain good health.

Excited..

I am currently waiting for the promotional usb drives that will arrive in Cagayan de Oro City today. Artscow surely made my daughter very happy last week with all the packages she received, and also those from Nuffnang. 

As for me, even if I am here in Singapore, I am still excited to be getting them there, because I know they will be worth it. And of course, they will be very useful for them there. At least I need not send money to buy them. I wonder if the items I am also going to get here in Singapore are worth it.

My friends in teh US excitedly told me about the great Black Friday sale that happens around Thanksgiving week. And aside of course from Black Friday, they also have Cyber Monday. OMG! They all have a great reason toi shop around this time there. I wish we have all that luxury to frolic into the malls and shop. Shop and shop and shop until we drop. Waaahhh..

But you know what, here in Singapore, shopping spree is almost endless too. Sale is everywhere, except in your pockets should it run dry. But of course, there's Visa and Mastercard if you really are not done yet. hehehe

There are so many acne products in the market today. But one of my friends say that we do not necessarily have to take them at an instant. She says that Chinese Medical centers have special herbs for such dilemma. So Honey and I went into one at Admiralty. The place smelled differently and herbs are everywhere. We asked what to get and the lady there introduced a detox tea which she says would be taken first before the worries. Yeah, it makes sense.. Cleansing is detox, thus, acne may be prevented once one is detoxified. 

The lady says that one must not readily take any prescription unless we undergo detox first. It is said to be the initial step for a beautiful radiant young looking skin.

Keeping Fit

If you are active in sports, would you still be interested in diet pill reviews? My friend Paul is. He is a triathlon buff, and he also goes playing football. He says that although he gets plenty of work out and exercise, he still takes diet pills especially on an occasion where it is deemed necessary like parties and food feasts. Hmm. Exercising

We have been exercising at the Woodlands grounds and Honey says that she wanted to buy an abtronic which she wants to use while doing the Ski Walk.

It was really nice to see that the entire woodlands have this exercise ground in each block. Yes, it was intended for their elderly, but just anybody can use the facility. We love it especially because we both are wanting to lose the weight. That's in woodlands, but in Ceylon Lane, we got to swim at the pool for exercise..

A good Bargain, Lah..

Across this hall where we ate at Bugis Village, is ABC Cheapest Store in Singapore. I was really amazed at this store because everything here is cheap. Imagine, I saw this really big shampoo and it costs thrice the price at Orchard, but was simply affordable.There were also expensive looking cabinet locks but are definitely affordable. But of course, if you decorate your house in a sensible chic fashion, it is the best by far--

After the Partying..

Some students of mine are looking for retail jobs online. Some are even looking for whatever job, including those of teh domestic service. I wondered why they are still out of jobs when they have graduated years ago. If I am not mistaken, they were my students who love dto party and drink heavily. Partying seemed to be their only goal in highschool. And now at 25, they still got no jobs. Hmm.

I can not help but be saddened by this reality. I am quite frustrated as I know I have always wanted each one of them to succeed in life-- but then, they have made decisions for themselves..

One of the companies I write for have been very strict with their rules already. Right now, they only accept those with self hosting and some with managed web hosting. Well, I think I can almost breathe freely as to that aspect. See, I have already taken cared of that a long time ago. I am simply paying on a monthly basis and well, everything is still doing fine on my end. I just hope there will be no more changes or additions that I do not already have.. Seriously, this writing busuness is such a challenge at all time.. But I do love this job that all others. I simply feel compensated for whatever effort I put into this project..

through time

When we were younger, we used to have fun by the playground, sampling all teh different rides, the wood swing sets, the see-saw, and all others. Now, Lili and River are the ones who pretty much enjoy them. I am kinda thankful for food chains such as McDonalds and Jollibee for installing a good deal of playground for teh kids. Kinda--- well, theirs is limited, but somehow very functional. We still go to the park or the playground round teh corner for some kiddie fun for them. I think these are the rides that will never go missing through time, it will always be there..

Kelley's New Addiction

Who would ever think that one could lose an old bad habit by developing a new habit. Kinda like a replacement. My friend Kelley used to smoke cigarettes, and she has reached a point where she cannot do anything without ending in a smoking session. Like, she smoked after eating, smoked after a good drive, or even after simply cleaning the toilet. She even smoked after playing with her xbox 360. Imagine that. But now she does not smoke anymore. She plays the xbox 360... that is her new addiction, as well as her obsession. She wants xbox 360 so much that her boyfriend complains these days that she loves the xbox 360 more than him...

Halloween Fun

It's Halloween in three days and I can't wait for the many games and gimiks that shall be played on the 31st. If you go to the malls, there are kiddie costume parades and costume contests that will allow them to win prizes. Organizations also have set parties and fundraisers that is themed quite nicely to fit the occasion. Some even go out of their way to decorate their homes with Halloween decors that are scary enough to make anyone lose their grip on things, or even pee their pants. Some, instead of putting on blinds & shades at their windows, would instead leave them open with only carved pumpkins lighting the night. 

Wow.. I can't wait what awaits the last day I spend with my family and friends here in CDO as I am going to fly to Singapore the next day..

President Noy promised more jobs here in the Philippines. Unfortunately for some local jobs, the pay is not even close as to those jobs that could actually buy a family a new car in a month's time.My father was also trying to convince me that working for the government is fun and security wise, most sought after.  Well, as for me, I have given the government a chance. And yes, the government has allowed me to accept the application challenge, only to find out that even if I ranked first, still, the ranking is not enough..

Yes, local jobs are important, and some of them just doesn't pay much. What will happen  to the  ones who are not able to go abroad due to financial constraints? When they have already used the opportunities, yet behave differently. But then again, what credential or document shall be shown? I have got to prepare them already..

If you are suffering from acne, then you should get yourself immediate acne treatment. See, if you allow it to get soar, it may become infected and may worsen you r situation.I have friends who resort to the old housewives tale of curing acne, but I don't think it is really that effective. Extreme Measures

When I was a first time breast feeding mom to Lili,I didn't know that there are ways to increase breast milk. All I thought was that if I took more soups and other liquids, I would have lots of milk. But then, a cousin of mine who is a nurse, told me to take a vitamin that increases milk production, regardless of my liquid intake.Unfortunately, when I learned of that, I was already on my way to Cebu as Convergys then hired me already, so I had to leave Lili and drink bottled milk instead of my breast milk..

Anyway, as much as there is a way to increase milk production, I found no way to decrease or stop it altogether. I had to go through a painful transition of wasted breast milk as Lili was miles away from me during work.. Extreme measures call for pumping milk out.. and the pain is just too unbearable..

Keeping Healthy and Safe

These days, everything is expensive. I can not imagine myself to get sick because hospitalization costs are really too high. I guess, even if you have a North Carolina health insurance or any health insurance for that matter, you still would not want to get sick. 

As a mother, my main concern is to be healthy mentally, physically and emotionally as well as spiritually for anything that hampers health and wellness will eventually take its toll on the body as well as our daily activities that result into so many other  burdens later on. Besides that, our kids will benefit more when we are healthy and safe. So I resolve further that my concern should always be to keep myself and my family in good health and to keep safe at all times.

Walking and Camping

The youth choir of our church have decided to go for an exciting camping expedition this semester break. It is quite timely for it falls in the middle of October and as such, we are also on our sem break as well. I am so happy I will still have time to join as Honey and I wont leave for Singapore until teh first week of November.

Anyway, I was told that we will be going to Mount Kitanglad for the walking exercises. Actually we shall just be at the base and not go up the mountain as we are not equipped for that physically. Most of us would need to sleep in cabin beds instead of tents, lol.. Well, you know what I mean.. 

Oh I am so excited.. I can't wait..

TOUGHIE

My childhood best friend and grade school classmate is fighting a tough battle of cancer these days. I do not know which type of cancer it is, but I am sure it is not Mesothelioma cancer.She underwent treatment and have been coping really well. That is in fact a good sign that she will survive. It takes one toughie to win a battle over a tough ailment like cancer. The procedure for treatment is tasking as well as tiring, but with a good attitude and lots of positivity in teh situation, everything becomes bearable. 

With prayer, lots of love and positive thinking, I am sure Donna will make it. I am praying for her healing as much as her strength to go through her ordeal..

The New House

I mentioned that I am moving into a new house, right? Well, I found one that is just a house away from my dad's.. and it is not as big as the Orange house. The sink is okay despite not being one of the Elkay sinks and the faucets are just ordinary, not like any other faucets.The garage is not as wide either.. It is in fact just right for our white ford pick up to fit in, and the living space is not at all huge as the orange house. But, to be practical about it, it's just enough for all my things to fit in, just right to simply house my belongings while I am away. 

The good part is that, there are two rooms and there is also a garden.. Oh well, if only my things woudl fit in my father's house, I wouldn't be renting another space just to keep all of them..

Ostrich: Strong, even while it's still an Egg..

These innocent looking ostrich eggs are very strong. Imagine, Even if a person as big as me would step on it, it will never break.. OMG.. The kids had a chance to step on an ostrich egg today, during their Field trip and it never got broken..  It started from Teacher Marissa, then Teacher Karen and all 30+++ kids and some nannies who tried it.. It never got broken.. 

Wow.. The Ostrich is really strong, from egg to adult.. OMG..

Would You Run A RACE with The Ostriches?

The Kinder 2 students of Lifetime Study Center just had their Fieldtrip and Educational Tour this morning with all the school teachers and aides and nannies and parents too. There were just two places we all went to. The Philippine Ostrich and Crocodile Farm in Malanang, Opol and of course, the Opol Aviary at Taboc, Opol. 

Anyway, the said educational tour is indeed very educational as we learned so much information regarding the different animals we saw.  At the end of the tour, I kept thinking who in his crazy mind would race an ostrich? Really? Hey, the bird can't fly but it sure can sprint the fastest and the strongest..

A Business in Mind

Because the economy is not at all great, many people have opted to have extra jobs or home based business to add income for the family. Sweet and Carmz  previously had peanuts as their business for extra income. I myself do some online jobs for extra income and my printing and tutorial business that is home based. My aunt in Butuan City opened a home-based sari sari store wherein she sells soft drinks and all other  wares. And because it is home based, it does not take so much of her income for permits. And electricity is still residential rather than commercial.

Save The Date Cards

My friend Alyssa was saddened that her wedding day didn't get a good turn out. They spent so much for invitations but guests who came didn't even reach half of the number.  It is quite sad that even the guests were sorry they have forgotten the date, to think that it was a holiday.

Most weddings have less turnout with guests mainly because the intended guests forgot the day or time or the date itself. And this is not just true to one but many weddings already. Landing The Best Job

A friend of mine was looking for a job in Dubai. He wants something with a good pay and good benefits. Of course, he seeks something that can also offer disability insurance. Unfortunately for him, he has not found one that offers the said requirements. So, he never stops looking until today. For the meantime, he takes on some online tasks to have money to  use while searching for jobs.

Keeping an Active Lifestyle

I have read from another blogger's blog that it is now easy to lose weight with phentermine without a prescription. Hmm. I still find exercising to be the best way to lose weight. I may not be exercising religiously but I do swim and enjoy walking or trailing  once in a while.

Just recently, we spent hours swimming and playing on the pool. It was fun and yes, tiring. But swimming is one way to lose weight without straining your muscles as you enjoy the water. The best thing about swimming is that, you can either do it alone or with your kids. And when you swim with kids, your effort gets doubled so does the burning of energy.. (a.k.a. fats, lol.. )

We had fun when we had our recent swimming activity..especially my siblings and daughter. That is what's important..

Just Because You Play EXTREME..

If you are into extreme sports or extreme activities, or even just the ordinary activities that you do to have fun, never ever forget to take care of your skin. I have noticed some of my friends who skate, who go scuba diving and those who go mountain climbing, that they have dry skin. So it got me thinking, if I was the one excelling in those sports and games, I would still be splurging on lotions and body butter, as well as moisturizing night cream for protection and maintenance. We need to take good care of our skin in order for us to look radiant and ravishing. True, the sport can help you become fit and slim, but the sport itself can also damage the skin. So Extreme sports enthusiast should put this in mind.. The skin matters too..

which diet pills work best

I am wondering which diet pills work best. I mean, there are lots of them in the market and they all say they are effective.There's one that promises fast burning of fats, while another promises no side effects. Another one is herbal and claims to be really effective and healthy too. Ah.. All of them seem to claim to be the best. But are they all really the best?

A student of mine told me that she took a certain diet pills for at least a month only and she has already seen results. The ones I tried are also effective, and I only took them for just two months and the result was really good. Unfortunately, there was no stock in the market for about a month or so so I stopped using when I ran out of stock. I want something that will always be available, and effective of course. But I am still looking for the best.. Do you know?

Happy Fiesta Balulang 2010

It's the Feast Day of the Holy Cross. Our Barangay fiesta. We had lots of food on the table and lots of visitors too. After eating, I am sure the ones who are body conscious would be looking for a top rated fat burner to take the flab away.. Well, who could resist the Lechon?

There's also Humba, Fried Chicken, Hamonada, Creole, Fruit Salad Tapioca, Lumpia Shanghai, and many others. Funny how people can joke about not dieting when food is served in abundance and at no cost.  And some added that they will start dieting again when Fiesta is over, lol..

If you ask me, it is difficult to go on a diet when there is so much food on your table. That is why, if you wanna go on a a diet, you must live like a pauper and eat only what you can see. Therefore, food is no longer abundant once you start the process of dieting, unless  you splurge on a specific diet like high protein or low carbo diets that work for you specifically.

I Wanna Sleep....

Are you always experiencing bouts of insomnia? Do you have problems sleeping? Well, I almost wanted to use some sleeping pills but I was not able to find the best sleep aid so far. So for the moment, I play music to lull me to sleep, and some scented candles too. I love playing soft music or mellow hits from the 80s and the 90s.. Funny, I am now in the reminiscing mode, lol.. Now I find it even more difficult to sleep. Imagine, instead of drifting off to dreamland, I find myself drifting and smiling. The past has its funny way of reminding us of our crazy yesterday.. So now I end up blogging instead of sleeping.. and as I type every word, I smile.. I had fun in the good ole days.. and I feel wonderful about remembering them..

When Buying Gifts

In my previous post, I talked about Christmas. Here's another that could perhaps be a continuation of that. See, during Christmas, we busy ourselves with buying presents. Bit with the economy and all economic strains, I am sure that gift giving needs some push of some sort. I am talking about buying from a wholesale distributor to get much value for one's money. Gifts for kids, I have already found a store that sells wholesale as well as retail. Prices are way too low so chances are, many will go there to shop. Sweet and I decided to shop early so we can not be victims of shopping rush..

Christmas Countdown begun..

Don't you wish it's Christmas already? The kids do. Lili and River are excited because of what awaits them in the season of joy. Nope, not snow boots, although that is what both of them wished for last Christmas. They are actually excited for the plane-ride for their Christmas vacation. Whew.. Even though they were told that it is not fixed yet, still they hoped and prayed and continued with Christmas count down. Oh kids.. Hehehe

I wonder how Christmas is gonna be this year. I wonder if I would be able to come home as I will be out of the country by then. Well, I just hope and pray that all will be well by then.

Not A Beetle for Dinner!

Would you eat this beetle? Kinda gross to imagine it, right? But Carmz said that they eat the beetle in their province. The beetle along with some fresh bamboo shoots. After attending the burial of her grandma, she came back and brought with her corn and bamboo shoots from their own harvest. 

She cleaned them and had them chopped finely before boiling.

After boiling them, they will already be ready to be used for cooking. In our house, we usually cook bamboo shoots with meat, beef, chicken or pork. Here at the orange house however, it was done differently as Carmz at that time did it her own way, using pork and pork fat. I was still grossed with the beetle story so I cooked pork lemon grass. And topped it on the finished recipe of Carmz..

Keeping Fit

My father, when advised to lose weight and tone up muscles, bought a complete home exercise system complete with a cardio-exerciser, a pull up bar with all the rings and some other equipment to complete a home gym. He gave away the stepper, gave them to me for my use. But still, he is left with so many at home. It has lacked space and the proper area to place them, I am afraid they'd get all dusted up and may perhaps rust if not used at all. See, because of this lack of space, my father is using just a few of them. He could barely move the rest. The barbells and dumbbells also occupy the space that is too cramped and narrow because of all the other things in the area.  

Keeping fit is important. So if you plan to splurge on exercise equipment, make sure that your space is also welcome with the idea.. Otherwise, it will defeat the purpose of buying them as they may not be used at all..

Massage Therapy for Stress

Nothing could be more relaxing than a massage after a hard day. I usually get a massage when I am done with a very stressful situation. Not just for relaxation but also to normalize my blood circulation. That is a healthier way to do it than do something else.. At least that is what I learned from my Reflexology and Swedish Therapy classes. I just love a massage on a very comfortable massage table, where I am allowed to sleep after my session. An hour of sleep after at least. That is totally relaxing.

Laptop or Airplane ?

Heard of any laptop deals lately? A lot of my friends are telling me that there are lots of  laptops on sale online. Some are even given away as prizes. And they are not just any prizes or deals, they're the ones that anyone would die to have..

Hmm.. I am also looking for the best deal, but it is not yet my concern these days.I am actually saving up for some adventure trip with my little Lili. Somewhere where she can freely express herself without any hindrances. Somewhere where she is free to explore. Well, for my darling angel, it doesn't really matter where, for as long as she can ride the plane, lol.. She told me she couldn't remember the time she was on board a ship, so after the plane, she would like to take a boat ride with me again.. Hmm.. I have this funny feeling that my daughter is going to be an adventurer someday--- hehehe..

Vacations and Passports

My parents, along with my Aunts, Irma, Nancy, Vicky and Doris, will be spending a week-long vacation in Singapore starting December 9, 2010. Their tickets are now ready, both for Manila and for Singapore. Although there is some hitch with my mom's name as the Last Name was mistakenly written so it needs to be corrected at the main office in Manila, I am sure everything will turn out fine. The last time we were excited to travel was when we heard of really affordable Disney vacation packages. Unfortunately, there was a hitch with my brother's name so he had a hard time getting a passport as it was misspelled in his birth certificates.We also want to go but my mother said we should just go as a family when my brother's passport is in proper order. He is, after all, working on it again. And this time perhaps, his girlfriend will be traveling with us too. River and Lili are very much excited. Well, who wouldn't? They are kids after all..

Salt

I just love Evelyn Salt, the character played by actress Angelina Jolie in the movie SALT. I just love how she can quickly move even before she is seen in the security cameras at the CIA headquarters as well as at the White House. All the other agents and security personnel could not keep up with her, they end up dead. Not that I love people getting killed but the movie just makes it more so exciting. The escape I mean, and especially not the killing. I guess if it were a real life drama, I am sure it's way unimaginable.. Good movie, SALT---

Have you had a chance to see it? Well, if Lili didn't get sick and we'd have to camp in my father's house, I wouldn't be able to. I was busy. And more busy these days.. Watching Salt was a breather for me..
