Vsk8shop sponsored VDAY Cagayan de Oro City 2008, a worldwide campaign production of Eve Ensler's THE VAGINA MONOLOGUES
Vsk8shop had its humble beginnings with the idea of uniting all skaters in Cagayan de Oro City, Iligan, Davao and all other parts of Mindanao with one common goal--- to make the sport thrive in Mindanao. Before the shop, there was the Cagayan de Oro Skatepark, a small skatepark fronting Dolores Apartments, but due to some conflicts it closed down. Months after, Vsk8shop was born. Aside from providing for the skateboarding enthusiast the spareparts he/she needs, there is also the monthly exhibition and competitions to participate in. What's good about it is that SM has a very good venue for the fun and excitement of the sport...it's no longer the small space like that at Dolores. It's more spacious and skateboarding friendly environment. Most importantly, it's safer and more open to on-lookers and supporters.
And in terms of safety, there is always the mobile clinic, ambulance and all necessary safety precautions during every competition.
If you live in Cagayan de Oro City and the nearby areas in Mindanao, and you are a skateboard rider or a fan, I am inviting you to visit us at the Carpark of SM Cagayan de Oro City. We have all the latest boards and spareparts, with cool designs to choose from. Store opens year round synonymous with SM Cagayan de Oro's closing and opening, 10am to 9pm.
