Here's another Run that CDO runners/joiners should not miss.. Pretty much, everything you want to know is on the poster.. Just an additional note. I heard that this run will finish with a gorgeous fire extravaganza at the Rodelsa Circle..

Run For The Heart

The RMR Running group of Cagayan de Oro City will have their first fun run activity tomorrow, February 27, 2011. The said event aims to promote health and well-being of their participants, in celebration of February as the Heart Month, as well as raise funds to sponsor indigent children with heart problems here in Cagayan de Oro City, in memory of Robin Faith Medrano who died of cardiomyopathy. Part of the proceeds raised will also be used in supporting RMR's group young runner athletes.. 

So what is at stake? Participants will pay PhP 450 W/ Jersey (Jersey are limited) or PhP 150 Without Jersey... that's across all categories.

Below are the categories and prizes...

a.) 10k Solo Male (Top 10 Medals)
b.) 10k Solo Female (Top 10 Medals)
c.) 10k Couple (Top 10 Medals)
d.) 5k Solo Male (Top 10 Medals)
e.) 5k Solo Female (Top 10 Medals)
f.) 5k Couple (Top 10 Medals)
g.) 3k Fun Walk (Top 3 medals)

Nonito Donaire has made for himself a world record. I am impressed. A lot of people are saying that he will become the next Manny Pacquiao, but that is quite an understatement, since Donaire has his own style and move of boxing.. I wonder how Fernando Montiel is now, after their fight in the boxing arena... I just hope he has a taken for himself some measures for safety and security like a medical card and life insurance guaranteed issue, just in case something comes up..

Well, I am hopeful that both parties have good managers who will look into that.. On the other hand, for you guys who have not seen the fight, here's a clip from you tube..

A lot of people is celebrating EDSA like it's the new Independence Day. But if you ask me, nothing has changed, people in the government are still the same. Yes, we have regained freedom... but many are still poor. The educational system is still very backwards, and there are still not enough funds for athletes, both domestic and international...

I wish we could become better, minus all the intrigues and scandals that our officers, current and retired, have gotten themselves into.. whew..

When one is active in sports or seriously a workaholic in the office or at home, one should consider taking multivitamin supplements, as they help boost immune system as well as keep the body in good condition. My daughter is taking supplements apart from her regular vitamins ever since she was a child, as that is how my mom raised us. I, on the other hand, wanted to stop, but could not, because of the kind of job that I do, even when I am only working at home. So I get to pick what's best for me. And so should you. Vitamins and supplements do not call for age limits. There is one for everyone. So at least, we should take them seriously too. Because whatever we do, our bodies are all that we got.. So we must all take good care of our bodies..

It is not only women who are vain. It is not only women who are conscious of how they look and how much they weigh. No sir! Men are as vain as women, as well as overly conscious of their look, smell and weight. Well, speaking of most men that I know, but not all of them who I am acquainted with, to be safe.. I remember a friend of mine complaining that her husband spends so much in the parlor they go to, more than how much she spends. Can you believe that? Another one said that her husband maxed out his credit card limit for a pair of jeans and shoes.. woooh! That's quite overboard, don't you think? Well, I wouldn't be surprised if one day they will tell me that their husbands are looking for the best acne products...

If you are also a blogger or a webmaster like me, I would like to know if you are using WIX. Well, a lot of my friends have been recommending this drag-and-drop site, but since I am busy, I have not had the chance to try it out. I think I will need to read a couple of wix reviews before I could finally hit it. But then, if you guys have something to share, that would be most helpful for me too.. So do you?

1st CDO Night Run

Would you join this Night Run? Well, if you have nothing much to do, it's a good way to NOT to get bored on the 19th of this month.. Or if you have not celebrated Valentines day, take your partner for this run.. It's actually a first here in CDO, so I hope many will join..It's for a good cause..

On the other hand, my friend Jody said that this Night Run is actually good for those who wish to lose weight fast, at the same time, for people who wish to do colon cleanse.. No eating after the run.. Just water. Add sauna, hot and cold shower afterwards, and a good night's rest.. One will feel rejuvenated in the morning----

Am I For Manufacturing Jobs?

Sometimes I wonder why I always get invitations to apply for manufacturing jobs at job-street, when I have set my profile for education as well as administrative vacancies. The pay offer are good though, but I am not at all inclined for said jobs as my credentials are not for manufacturing jobs. I could work in a manufacturing company though, but not as part of the manufacturing, instead, human resources or training.

I am flattered though, that I get invitations to apply even if I am not really looking at this time. As a matter of fact, I have not even edited my resume on the resume bank.. hehehe

Camp Date

What are your plans for Valentines day? A friend of mine and his girlfriend will be camping at Lonedale Spring, which I am not really familiar with, so I can not tell you where it is. He came by the house yesterday and asked if we have a Jetboil he could borrow. That is how we learned about their plan. It is quite a unique valentine adventure.. Well, both are trekkers, so they will rally enjoy a camp date for valentines day.. 

For some, it will be the usual date. Flowers, music, dancing and all others..

Billy, the neighbor's son, is getting an ipod touch for his sixteenth birthday on Monday. That's right, Valentine's day is his birthday too. Then his brother Louis, told his dad that he should not get that present for him because he heard from his brother that he will be giving the said gift to the girl next door, to whom he is continuously courting without any chance of getting a positive answer.

So the parents, alarmed about this thought, went to the girl's house and spoke with her parents. So a commotion in the neighborhood erupted.. Embarrassed at what happened, Billy told  his parents not to invite the girl and her family for his party... Hmm. Puppy love...

My baby brother, River, was playing Plants versus Zombies, when my friend Alicia came by the house today. She handed me some magazines to look at some Personal Creations Sesame Street collection which she said she would like me to get River and Lili as her sister will be ariving from the US soon. So if I will order, she would love for me to take a look at them. Well, Alicia has been selling me almost anything that her sister will bring or those in teh pasalubong boxes that they get monthly. It had become quite a life-saving business for them..

One of Alicia's tactics so that we will buy is to show the kids what she sells, in pictures or on magazines. And well, kids will always like what they see..

Many people, both men and women are in search for the most effective weight loss pill to keep them fit. Well, I am no exemption, as I too, am looking for teh right one. With all the instant meals available that make us flabby, we tend to spend more on resolving the issues they have brought about. Add lack of exercise and much stress, then you get the flab.. whew.. I am so happy that my laptop computer is working well, despite the fact that its battery is for replacemnet. That is why I am now seeking where I could buy a battery replacement. I am opting to buy one that will last for eleven hours, as my blogging life needs it to be so. I will be out most of teh time and well, having a battery life that long will surely be a big help for me.. My aunt said that I could get one in Cebu, that it will be cheaper there compared to buying teh replacement battery here in Cagayan de Oro City. I could also buy it in Singapore when I get back, but that would be too long a wait already, as I am not yet going back.. I could buy online too. But I still need to look for the website.. So Google help me, lol..

I am looking for a really good deal on Hats for Men. Not just an ordinary hat, or a common design at that. I am looking for something that is quite right for a sporty dude who is picky about what he wears.. My friend is going to celebrate his birthday, and well, for being so nice to me all these years, I owe him a really great gift this year.. And since his weakness are hats of different colors, shapes, sizes and designs, I am thinking of giving him one..

So, I am here online right now to find one. I am opting it to be sent directly to his address, as it would be much less of a hassle.. I hope he will like what I will find..
