Golf Shop

Andrew is busy taking care of his beloved little lady with their small bundle that he called in for a day's leave. So here I am taking care of business today. Whew. On the first half of the day, it was really boring. Until two foreigners buzzed in with so many questions regarding a golf shop. Of course I do not know where the nearest golf shop is or where in Cagayan de Oro you can locate a golf shop. So my instinct is to send the guys to Pueblo, where they can find the nearest golf club, lol...if there's a golf club, information regarding golf shops would then be available. Right?

So anyway, the two can not speak fluent English, and they have a hard time relating or communicating with me. My golly, I wish they traveled with an interpreter. At least they wouldn't have a difficult time communicating. And they have guts to go to SM with such a dilemma.

So anyway, even if I gave them directions already, they still would not budge. I couldn't quite figure out what they really want. To break the ice, even if we are not understanding each other, I talked to them about skateboarding. Of course, they are inside a skateboard shop..lol...and of course, i offered them our wares. Then out of nowhere, the taller guy took a Benjamin out of his wallet and pointed towards the PC at VSK8SHOP. Hmmm, weird. In his thick accent, I could barely understand what he was trying to say. All I could hear was "Golf shop", "Golf shop"...

My brows may have caught his attention, he laughed..then he said "I giV you Diz iV you let me uZe"...lol, so that was what all the commotion was all about? hahaha...why didn't he say so?

Anyway, after he used the PC, he left. He would have left the Benjamin but I cheerfully declined...then when I sat in front of the PC, it was only then that everything became clear to me. My visitor was actually looking for a PC to use to search a Golf shop . And before my very eyes, is a site about a Golf shop...ahehehehe...goodness gracious, sometimes people will really have a hard time communicating...but am glad it was okay in the end. And I showed him what Filipino hospitality is all about, haha...
